About the Speaker

Jeanette Schaible is a registered dietitian and certified lactation counselor. She completed her bachelor's degrees in nutrition and public health, as well as her dietetic internship at the University of Massachusetts. She is passionate about pediatric and women's nutrition education and currently is a member of the New Hampshire Breastfeeding Task Force. She currently works in private practice, Creative Nutrition LLC, which is an affiliate of Nutrition In Motion LLC.

Program Objectives

Following this WAMDA webinar:
  1. Dietitians will be able to review the science and timeline of lactation
  2. Dietitians will be able to list 3 groups at high risk for not breastfeeding and 3 resources that can help support them
  3. Dietitians will be able to list 3 strategies to help lactating parents eat well during lactation period

2 RD CPEUs offered; the event will be recorded for those who cannot attend live.
