WAMDA will be hosting Robyn Kievit Kirkman NP, RD, CSSD, CEDRD for this program. Eating disorders can be a mystifying and overwhelming illness to treat. Learn how challenging cases are treated and resolved in the college health and outpatient setting through case studies inclusive of nutrition, medical, psychopharmacological, therapeutic and alternative treatment modalities. With knowledge, patience, cohesive teamwork and treating every patient individually, success can come to both the patient and the clinician.

Program Objectives:


• Describe eating disordered behaviors that present to college health & outpatient services and the range of services that are required for treatment
• Describe creative approaches to medical & nutrition therapy; develop a plan of care for eating disordered students & clients
• Utilize a q/a discussion to compare treatment modalities and approaches to care 

*Brunch will be provided and you will receive 2 CEUs for attending*
