Celebrating Food Day at a Local Farm!

"Every time you make a decision about food, you are farming by proxy". What better way to celebrate food day then gathering local farmers and dietitians on a farm. Join MDA at Wright Lock Farm for a panel discussion with 3 very distinct farmers to share their knowledge and passion for farming and food with you.

During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to snack on locally produced foods, some of which were produced by the farmers on the panel! Marlow Duffy is a one of the farmer owners of the Cabot Creamery Cooperative, and Cabot will be providing samples of their new Farmer’s Legacy Collection during the event including Alpine Cheddar, Farmhouse Reserve and White Oak Cheddar. Following the 45 minute panel their will be a Farm Tour and light refreshments served.

· Adrienne Altstatt, Wright Locke Farm: an organic fruit, vegetables, flowers, herbs
