Current place of employment and job title:
Baystate Medical Center, Clinical Dietitian II

What inspired you to pursue a career in nutrition and dietetics?
As a student athlete from a young age all the way through college, I personally experienced the nourishing power of proper nutrition in helping advance my performance above my personal performance goals as well as above most of my opponents. This personal experience in addition to witnessing similar transformations among teammates, sparked curiosity within me. I thought to myself that there must be other settings and other populations where nutrition can make a powerful impact, which led me to pursue this career that I’m quite passionate about.

What goals do you have for your career?
- Advance to Clinical Dietitian level III in 2023.
- Become certified as a nutrition support specialist.
- Eventually advance to Clinical Dietitian level IV.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?
I LOVE rock climbing throughout New England! When I’m not out exploring, another happy place of mine is being curled up on a couch with a fuzzy blanket & a good book.
