About the Speaker:

Cinnamon Desgres RN, MSNc is certified in staff and simulation education . She has experience as an interprofessional student and staff educator, using simulation as her preferred teaching methodology. Recently she has moved to the informatics and technology world continuing her journey as a health care educator.

Program Objectives

After attending this session, participants will be able to:
  1. Verbalize Nurses’ and Dietitians’ respective and shared roles and responsibilities in patient care.
  2. Engage in a simulated learning activity with feeding tubes with healthcare team members.
  3. Understand the value of working with interprofessional teams and carry this knowledge, skill, and value into their practice.

*CEUs: RDs will receive 2 CPEUs for attending. Nurses will receive 1.5 CEs for attending.*
